I've installed phpBB2Drupal and phpBB2Privatemsg modules. But in /admin page I have link to phpBB2Drupal Settings page only, there is no admin/settings/phpBB2Privatemsg page, and on admin/phpbb2drupal/migrate in drop-down list "Next import to perform" i have only these options:
- Import Users
- Import Categories
- Import Topics
- Import Posts
- Transform URLs

So how do I actually import phpBB private messages in Drupal's Privatemsg?

have you also enabled the phpbb2privatemsg module?

Of course, haven't I said that in 1st sentence of 1st post?
Privatemsg module is 6.x-2.x-dev, is that the problem?

P.S. Can you also provide a screenshot that shows what I should expect from phpBB2Privatemsg module? I mean admin UI.

I will look further into this tonight. but in the admin menu, is there not a similar link to the phpbb2privatemsg migrate page?

the direct link to the page that you want to use to import the messages is located at admin/phpbb2privatemsg (it is separate from the phpbb2drupal migration page and does not require its own settings) - can you try typing that location in manually?

OK, this link "admin/phpbb2privatemsg" worked for me, I don't know why it's missing on admin page...

P.S. Did the import of PMs. Kinda weird it was actually done - now in the Drupal inbox (incoming) there is no messages at all, but all of them shows in all messages tab, some of them shows in sent tab, and the most weird part is that some messages grouped in 1, while other aren't - and therefore it's hard to figure out who's message was 1st and/or where the f**ck is it =)

Are the messages better behaved in phpbb or are they the same there too? What version of privatemsg are you using?

In phpBB everything is all right. Incoming messages in Inbox, sent messages in Sent.
Like I already said before I use 6.x-2.x-dev version of Privatemsg module.

can you try the 1.2 release of privatemsg? that should work better. (either that or go to the admin section and click "recreate inbox") - the import does not create the relevant tagging that 2.x version of privatemsg uses
