Thanks for a great module!

Was trying to get the FlexPaper viewer working and am very close. I have followed the steps at http://drupal.org/node/756592#comment-2823180 and have my node displaying the viewer on the node but the SWF file does not show-up and the little spinner in the right-hand corner just spins with 100 in the middle.

If I change the file handler (DEFAULT PLAYER FOR A SINGLE SWF MOVIE:) on my profile to "Display the SWF directly on the page", my SWF displays perfect. I can not figure out why the FlexPaper viewer won't load the SWF.

At starters really got to thank for the module developpers on this! Also Flexpaper looks very good way to show swf files for reading.

I have the same problem as jpstuddard, I can see the player, but it just rolls the loading icon at 100%.

I can see only two reasons for this behaviour:

1) I found this comment here http://drupal.org/node/756592 :

Because flexpaper renders an swf inside another swf you will need to use the profile system to create a profile that assigns FlexPaper as the handler for swf files.

Also I have no idea how to do this... so please advice.

2) The flexpaper is searching for the swf in the wrong path

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Hi, again!

Got it working about the same minut I posted above.

So everything was correct I just went back to swftools settings and run cron.

Vast Vision, unfortunately I'm not sharing your success, I ran cron and am still just getting an empty viewer with a spinner.

When you say "I just went back to swftools settings and run cron." Did you do anything in the SWFTOOLS settings beside just running the cron?

I tried to repeat the same procedure with another file and I'm stuck again. It's very strange, because the only thing I did was that I went to swftool settings and did not do anything, went back to the page and suddenly the file just opened...

OK. Now it's working. The problem was with flexpaper. I used Windows program of swftools to convert the pdfs.

Now that I used the command line:
C:\SWFTools\pdf2swf.exe Paper3.pdf -o Paper3.swf -T 9 -f

as instructed in:
http://flexpaper.devaldi.com/docs.html

...stupid me. Everything works like a charm. You can find the pdf2swf.exe in the installation directory of the swftools (default: /programfiles/swftools/).

I was using the SWFTools Windows Client (gpdf2swf 0.9.1) as well to create the swf files. Once I tried it with the command-line version, the file displays fine in FlexPaper now.

I went back to the GUI version and set the Viewer Type to "No View" and re-created the files and they work so that must be the culprit.

Here is how you set that option:
In the GUI program goto Edit-> Options -> Viewer Tab -> and click "No Viewer"

There's no pager navigation, fullscreen, and etc options. only have print option. Is this true for GPL License (free) of flexpaper?
