The reason I tried this module was to...

Place the meta tags for a node into the head title via Page_Title.

I was hoping the replacement pattern would go like this: [page-title] | [site-name] - [metatags-node-keywords]

I assumed when installing that [metatags-taxonomy-keywords] would be the meta tags of the node including the field and taxonomy generated keywords, but the token support doesn't seem to let the meta tags get used.

Am I missing the point, or is this just an edge feature request?

I think you're right. You probably meant to post this into the page_title issue queue. The Page Title module provides the ability to add tokens into the title for vocabulary groups. I'm not sure about the [metatags-node-keywords] / [metatags-taxonomy-keywords] tokens you are referring to.. just curious, are those tokens generated by the nodewords module?
