enhance "notify" module to notify of edited content

Currently, the "notify" module is only set up to notify users about new content. As an editor of a site, it would be great to be notified when another contributing editor updates or edits a book that already exists. I imagine I'm not the only editor who would be hugely grateful if such a patch were to exist. Here's hoping someone takes it on! Thanks, Julia.
