First of all, congrats on a great module!

How do you format the teaser and page view such that the review text is displayed in its original format -- not just one continuous block of text without line breaks, as is the case now.

Sounds like a good idea. Surprisingly, I am not sure how to make a textarea field format in a particular way, despite some looking into this. I must have missed something. Please let me know if you have any insights.

looks like i need to use function check_markup. feel free to have a swipe at inserting the use of this function at the appropriate places & provide a patch or a synopsis of the required changes. if not i should be able to get to this eventually
