MGN CreditAttribution: MGN commentedThanks for reporting this. It has now been fixed in CVS - http://drupal.org/cvs?commit=382260. Please test the latest 6.x-2.x-dev code to confirm that this is working correctly now.

Anonymous (not verified) CreditAttribution: Anonymous commentedI'm still getting this issue, except in my case it's the HTML entity for the ampersand.
This was a menu style breadcrumb for Pages. My menus have Menu item container, I'm not sure if that complicates the issue.
I'm using the latest 6.2 dev version.

MGN CreditAttribution: MGN commentedPlease give me a step by step description that reveals this problem. I haven't been able to replicate your report. If you think another module might be involved, disable it (temporarily) and see if the problem goes away... Thanks for testing.
