3DYourTV.com Launch - Please help with page loading time

Just launched our newest site - http://www.3DYourTV.com - Pretty basic info site about 3D TVs, what you need to get 3D TV in your home, and what content is available in 3D.

We used the free Orange theme and I think it looks great.

The only problem is the page loading times. Basically for any page that lists multiple nodes (using the views module) the loading time goes up dramatically. If you visit a single node page you should notice that it loads much faster.

For example:

Go to the Buying Guide (takes about 10 secs to load on my computer).

Then go to the Panasonic 3D Blu-ray Player post (takes about 2 sec to load on my computer).

Can anyone tell why these view pages are taking so long to load compared to the individual nodes?

Also feel free to comment and critique the site, all suggestions are appreciated! Thanks Drupal and Drupalers!

Same with Panasonic.

Your site is very simple, it should fly.
What hosting do you have?

You could use Authcache or Boost to improve the page load.

Thank you for testing the load times on your computer. I'm on a virtual dedicated server.

I'll check out those modules, thanks for the suggestions.

All of my views were sorting

All of my views were sorting by "Post Date" and then by "Title". I removed the "Title" sort because it doesn't do anything unless 2 posts were submitted at exactly the same time (never happens). I'm guessing the extra sort of my posts was adding some time.

Thanks again for doing some testing for me!

Have you enabled view's cache

No, I haven't turned on any views caching. I don't think any caching should be necessary on a site that is this simple. I have other sites that have pretty much the same structure and content and there is never a problem.

Despite the testing from users above, the site is still taking a while to load the home page and the Buying Guide and Content Guide. I can try the views cache, what exactly are the disadvantages to having a views cache? Won't this cause my views not to update immediately after I post?

Views cache

Looked into views cache, that should speed things up.

I'm still a little perplexed by the speed of www.3dyourtv.com. I have another site, www.teamsc10.com, and it is pretty much the same set up with the same modules, just a different theme and content, but it loads up very fast with no caching. I looked at the devel logs and teamsc10.com only runs about 200-400 queries on the home page, while on 3dyourtv.com there is about 7000-9000 queries run on the home page.

Can anyone see a difference between www.teamsc10.com and www.3dyourtv.com that would cause the latter to run more than 10x the queries? Thanks for all the help everyone.
