I have the image.module running and have multiple sites and databases using it. I had a 2005 version running when the problem (described below) occurred so I updated to the latest version for 4.6 but no luck.
Problem: Both of my sites/databases were fine until I changed the "images per page" from default 6 to 4. Suddenly the full size image showed versus the thumbnail. I returned the 4 to a 6 but the damage appears to be permenant.
I compared the database variables and they appear to be the same between the two databases. I cleared history and cache but again no luck. Again, I updated to the latest image.module for 4.6.
The url with the problem is http://cindymccourt.com/?q=image and the one that is working is http://idcminnovations.com/?q=image. One install of drupal. Two drupal databases sharing the files/images directory so the images are the same.
Got any suggestions?

idcm commentedi found out what happened but have no idea why changing 6 to 4 would do it.
i was looking at the files table in hopes that something would pop at me. I saw that several records associated with the image gallery had been deleted and fid values had been changed.
if anyone wants to explain how a table can be messed up by changing the "images per page" - go for it.
otherwise, i am not going to risk it again.
