Issue Summary

Hi there,

Just politely wondering if this project was still being maintained or not?

Thanks!

Hi,

no, not really. I would only make add ons if it is paid.

In that case, can I have the drupal.org webmasters mark this project as abandoned then?

Title:Is Red5 Flash Server still being maintained?» Red5 Flash Server Appears to be Abandoned
Project:Red5 Flash Server» Drupal.org webmasters
Version:6.x-1.0.x-dev» <none>
Component:Miscellaneous» Project problem
Priority:critical» normal

The maintainer doesn't appear to have the desire to continue this project based on his response to my question regarding maintenance for the project (unless he is paid). In addition, various users has reported the Drupal 6 version to be broken but the maintainer has not adequately provided a stable fix for these issues.

Maintainer has replied to my inital question regarding maintainence but has since been silent for over 2 weeks after my last post.

Fixing component entry. heh.

@K-Max: Do you know any module that could be used instead of Red5 Flash Server? If there is such module, I would like to post a note in the project page.

#6

No... but if someone needs such a functionality (for example video or audio recording), I would rather suggest to go with a custom solution. The bigger part of this work is not writing the drupal module (which is almost trivial), but to write the flash client recorder and the setup and connection to the red5 media server.

This is one of the reasons I abandoned this project since drupal does play just a minor role in having a red5 flash server module.
