After updating to Drupal 6.17 except sites, themes, .htaccess

When I try to login under Firefox I get access denied but my name appears under Who's online
With IE there's no problem.

Drupal 6.17
Module and theme update status Up to date
MySQL database 4.1.21
PHP 5.2.4
PHP memory limit 128M
PHP register globals Disabled
Unicode library PHP Mbstring Extension
Update notifications Enabled
Web server Apache/2.0.46 (CentOS)

Went back to Drupal 6.16 and the problem disapeared.

Yes deleting cookies worked.

Should be mentioned and better documented as an possible trouble/fault.

Gabor added it to the release notes but I guess we can expect issues like yours to come up for quite a while. Glad you got it sorted.
