Like I said, you have JS errors on your site, coming from some other module.
Ive looked at that page, looks like you installed the colorbox module, but didnt download the plugin. Please install the module properly http://drupal.org/project/colorbox
Sorry to resurrect a closed topic - but I also can report its bit tricky to get the green arrows to display.
When they do not display, checking source indicates they are not merely rendered and hidden, but simply not rendered at all.
I have a few modules onthe page making JS queries (like UC option images), so disabling those modules was not an option.
However, I found that playing with the imagecache presets worked aorund the issue (I found the resize + crop action to be be the least problematic).

manuel garcia commentedYou'll have to be much more specific if you expect anyone to help you... did you follow the instructions? did you watch the screencast?
joeyfrombxl commentedHi thanks for your reply already!
I watched the screencast.
I installed all the modules.
everything works except that i see all the thumbnails in a raster under eachother instead of the carrousel with the green buttons.

manuel garcia commentedare you using IE6? #812514: Gallery formatter does not work with IE6 browsers
Also, what you describe is like if your browser had JS turned off, or if something else in the page was causing js to die due to an errror
