Add employee/volunteer of a CiviCRM member to a group, or Organic Group, or something?

Is it possible to automatically (on an ongoing basis) add a person who has a relationship (in CiviCRM) as an employee or volunteer of a member organization to a specific user group/role?
Would Organic Groups allow this?

(I'm having problems with CiviCRM's inherited roles, which I'm a little bit okay with, because I don't want them to BE members, I just want them to magically have some of the permissions members are allowed.)
