I am considering swapping out images for values via css backgrounds or straight up images. What would it take to tag the containers with appropriate css classes indicating values/numbers therein? Or to make the values part of a src="" uri to produce individual digits?

Really nice idea, would be cool to have an option of uploading corresponding images (0-9) via module's settings page.
