I have installed DDBlock slideshow and configured it following the directions exactly, actually did it twice. Both attempts yielded the same affect, no slideshow. The only difference is with cycleblock. When cycleblock is enabled, nothing appears in the block. If cycleblock is disabled we just see a text description of the picture. In both cases, no pictures appear.
I have looked through every issue posted and followed some of their direction, but still no affect. You can see my problem at www.volidaygreetings.com. The slideshow should be where the block title "Egor Actual" is.
I have uncommented the debug messages, but don't get them.
I have attached our template.php file.
I just cannot figure it out. Can someone help me?

ppblaauw commentedWhich version are you using, the dev version of ddblock module is for testing purposes. The RC version is a version which can be used on websites.
Your template.php file looks ok
I also see you have the views_slideshow_ddblock module installed. The dev 2.x version here has a lot of changes in functionality and is more easy to use.
Maybe better to use the dev 2.x version of the views_slideshow_ddblock module.
Please let me know what you want to use.
Edit:I don't see a slideshow block on your site, maybe you did not give permissions to view ddblock slideshows to anonymous users.

KAP10 commentedThank you.
I was using the wrong versions. I have deleted the original modules and replaced them with the versions you recommended. I still don't get any slideshow. I want to use the ddblock (not the views block).
As for you not seeing it, I have no idea why. User permissions for ddblock is enabled for anonymous users. I have attached a screen shot of the page. If necessary I will be more than happy to give you admin access.
Since you can't see the ddblock, I have attached screen shots of that too.
Where do I go from here?
Thank you for the help.

KAP10 commentedDear Phillip,
Thank you so much for helping me. This is so frustrating. I have continued to attempt fixes, looked at all issues, but none seem to exactly be my issue. A new block is present in the foot called Andrew Rules. Anonymous users still cannot see it, but logged in as an administrator, you will see a white box, split by a gray line (I used upright 30 template).
Hopefully you received the email from our site granting you administration privileges.
I look forward to hearing what I missed.
Thank you.

KAP10 commentedWith the generous support and help of Phillip, my issue has been fixed and solved. And it had nothing to do with the module itself.
In summary, we installed the ddblock module and associate modules with it. Following the instructions word for word, we got to a point where the slide show was displaying on the website, but as a white space; no pictures were being pulled and presented. We racked our brains by searching the issue and support forum for ddblock, and identified that the template.php file was the culprit. We changed it to match the appropriate settings for our website, including the theme we were using, and the news item view name we created. Despite all concerted attempts, no positive result was seen.
Upon contacting Phillip and with his help, we discovered something we never realized before. We had 2 instances of our theme installed. One instance was in the theme directory of our drupal installation. Somehow we got another instance of the theme in our sites/all/themes directory. The theme in the sites/all/themes directory was overriding the same theme in our regular theme directory. It was the template.php file in that other (sites/all/themes) directory that needed the repair. Once that was done, ddblock worked like a charm.
Thank you Phillip.
Andrew
