Hi,

After latest security update of FileField to 3.5 I've spotted that all LinkImage images began to point to default URL defined in the CCK constructor of the field, not the one specified for current node.

Also, URL entered for the LinkImage is not being saved - it is simply cleared and Drupal shows empty field.

Guys, could you please check if this happens because of some changes in the user input?

Looking forward for your reply.

same problem here - all urls defined for link images are gone - after updating filefield to 3.5 - help is highly appreciated.

hans59,

Unfortunately the same problem occurs for the ImageField - descriptions for images aren't saved. Posted this here #833000: Description not being saved.

Could you check please if issue for ImageField exists on your installation?

disabling filefield-meta module - and linkimagefield worked properly again

Thanks hans59. Disabling filefield-meta module works for me (albeit a temporary fix, and I'm using ImageField).

yeah, #3 works for me either. But still need fix because image descriptions require FileField-Meta.

Drupal 6.17
CCK 6.x-2.7
FileField 6.x-3.5
ImageField 6.x-3.3
LinkImage 6.x-1.0-beta2

I need FileField_Meta so disabling it isn't a solution for me.

The same problem occurs for me... the link is not saved when I save my post

I gave up on this module and created a new template for the content type.

The code I used is here: http://drupal.org/node/895848#comment-3412026
