Is it possible to just display a normal Google Map?

Hello -

Thanks for this great and useful module. However, I'm trying to figure something out here and can't seem to find the answer in my searching. I want to add a location to a node-type, and I've got that set up just fine, but when the map displays, it uses a custom marker (the Drupalicon) and clicking the icon brings up a custom bubble of information. I'm interested in having that map act just like a regular Google Map, that is, use Google marker pins, and use Google information bubbles. Is this possible with this module, or do I just need to get embed code from Google Maps each time and embed it there so I can use their system?
