When I am installing sites with the new Drupal 6.17, it will get to the language selection and will not proceed past that point. it goes to a blank window and will not fix w/ refresh. Please help. It should move to the next point in the installer. all files on the server are writable, and I have version 6.16 running, and it installs correctly.

I do experience something similar too (almost same server config).

Just something to note. I wrote the settings myself in the settings.php... might be an important detail...
