A user posted a large regshot in PRE tags as a comment in a post. The post was enough to choke the search indexing of the node (yielding the always-unhelpful "Cron run exceeded the time limit and was aborted." message). This was due to something in the node choking the indexer. Removing the post allowed the cron index to continue.

Attempting to add the content to a new post caused the posting to fail.
