I am trying to vote on nodes created with CCK and Contemplate. I have activated nodevote, made the settings where I can vote on these nodes, have set permissions and on the nodes I now see a link below the teaser called "rate it". The link is just a link to the node and nothing more. A voting box is no where to be found on the page. I was expecting it to be somewhere near or below the comments link but it is not there. There is absolutely no way to vote and I cannot figure this out. Any help?

kbahey CreditAttribution: kbahey commentedNodevote should work fine with CCK.
This leaves contemplate. Can you try to disable it and see if nodevote works?

orionvortex CreditAttribution: orionvortex commentedI created a page node and the voting box appeared so this is an issue with node vote and contemplate. Are there any plans to make the two compatible with each other in the future?

kbahey CreditAttribution: kbahey commentedI do not use contemplate, so can't help you there. From the description, it modified the body and teaser, and that is why the nodevote does not appear.
Sorry, but I don't have the time to install it and troubleshoot this, so I hope someone else who uses it can submit a patch.
