I hope the following requests are not already in the queue. Anyway, my suggestions have to do with UI improvement to EndNotes xml files import into Biblio.

I suggest that, in addition to the percentage bar, three visual icons be added:

  1. Cancel option button
  2. File size (KB or MB)
  3. Time elapsed/remaining (estimates) in mn:ss

Also, I noticed that when, in /admin/settings/biblio/import, the Copy these terms to to the biblio database is selected the EndNote xml file import takes longer to complete. Perhaps the two tasks should be decoupled by:

  • importing, first
  • then refine the indexing by adding the new terms to the biblio database

In this case, for instance, a 2.3 MB XML file took longer to import than a 5.3 MB XML file due probably to the indexing option being selected for the smaller file and disabled for the larger one.
