This release contains a ".cvsignore" file, this should not be commited with a release (to my knowledge...)

Agreed, this can cause problems for those deploying from CVS if they have their own local .cvsignore files.

I'll be removing it from CVS in a moment, including the unsupported DRUPAL-5 branch.
