Wow. Totally floored by all the great work going on with Quiz module (and friends)...

I just opened up an issue over in the Quiz queue, but then realized it fit better over here.
#836808: Feasibility of importing results or programmatically submitting quiz

The long and short of it is that I'm looking for some way to import results from scanned forms, doing grading and showing scores through the online interface of quiz.

Is anyone working on anything that might support this, or should I start digging in myself? Any advice or pointers would be appreciated!

Thought I might correct the title and status, as I'm now positive that it's not a current feature. I'll try to look into this at some point, but if anyone has any insight on how this might be implemented, any point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated :)

One issue is connecting Drupal accounts with the incoming (imported) test result. Would every scanned result have an account on the web site already, or would the import also have to create Drupal user accounts on-the-fly? Or, would we store the scanned results as anonymous?
