I'ven been using ping.fm for over a year now to post my articles to about 40 social networks.
Recently I have integrated the sheduler module to allow me to automatically publish posts even when I am not logged in. The automated publishing works perfect and on time - but ping.fm will not do anything.
So far I have found out that:
- When I preview a "story", "blog", "forum post" ... and then hit "submit" with box "publish" checked ping.fm will send out nofifications.
- When I preview a "story", "blog", "forum post" ... and then hit "submit" with box "publish" not checked ping.fm will not send out nofifications.
- When I change the status of a "story", "blog", "forum post" from "not published" to "published" ping.fm will not send out nofifications.
It seems that ping.fm will only work when publishing posts at once. Is there a way to fix that?
Or is it a bug? Anyony got any ideas?

Steven Brown commentedI have recently picked up this module as maintainer. We are not supporting a 5.x version. However, this is still an issue in the 6.x module so I will fix this for the 6.x branch.
Setting this as a support feature instead of a bug report since the issue only exists because the scheduler module is updating the node and saving the node via code. So we need to somehow support the scheduler module.
