Hi guys,

I'm been looking for information about apache solr, but every howto that i have found seems to be oriented to single sites or muti-sites (in same sever) installations, what i need is to index about five sites across Internet, showing the results in every one regardless of where there search came from.

Any idea of how can put this together ?

Is kind of simple after you see the apachesolr integration module for drupal, you have to change the "Solr host name" setting, after that you must check you firewall configuration, to make sure that the tomcat port is listen and just your sites ip address have access.

So, basically it was Rookie misread of documentation, and the firewall thing is obvious to any secure server :p

i forgot, if you don't want all the sites content as one single index you have to follow the multicore documentation.
