When i click the add more button it pops up with an error HTTP 404

Also the default poll fields of 3 is now only one.

Do you use latest version 1.12 of pollfield? When you fill choice then you can add more so only filled choices will showed. You have to fill one by one I now it is little bit confusing in start but that will prevent to have empty choices which are not needed. Can you give me some more information about your problem:
What version of CCK you use?
What is setup of you pollfield field?
What vesrion of drupal you use?

Ok, I have now tryed the latest dev version.

I have the latest cck and drupal stable versions installed.

go here and scroll down to the pollfield.

http://www.ilaaiksedgefield.co.za/node/add/forum

You will see if you click on add more, even if there is text in it will show the 404 error.

Firefox shows the error
IE makes the field disappear.

I think this is fixed in the latest dev version, as a result of the patch on this issue http://drupal.org/node/860254

Try the latest dev version and if it doesn't address this we can reopen.
