Hi,
I have just installed image module. When I try to upload my images, I get
* warning: is_file() [function.is-file]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(C:\php\temp\upload_data\phpD378.tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): (C:\Domains) in C:\[path]\wwwroot\includes\image.inc on line 117.
* The selected file b4 computers.jpg could not be uploaded. Only JPEG, PNG and GIF images are allowed.
What would be causing this two errors?

joachim commentedPlease try googling error messages before you file an issue.

Lestorx commentedWow, that was snide.

joachim commentedWhat exactly do you gain from posting that comment to an issue that's not been touched in over 6 months?
If you look at the time on my comment you can see it was 8 am. I was probably triaging the issue queue over breakfast. In my free time. I reserve the right to be mildly grumpy when triaging silly questions over breakfast.It says *everywhere*, all over the help on filing issues and all over the internet, to try googling error messages first because somewhere there will almost certainly be the answer.
I could have just not replied at all and let it rot, you know. How many times have YOU replied to a forum post or support request with an answer? Your tracker shows you've only touched 4 nodes on drupal.org, ever. Go earn some karma before you complain.

Lestorx commentedEasy there, I agree with you on searching before filing an issue. Posting the google search link hammers home your point. I was just struck by the fact that you went out of your way to be a jerk about it.
I don't drupal very often. I try to be helpful where I can and stay out of the way if I can't. There is no need to blow up. I truly appreciate all that you drupal gurus do to help everyone in the community.
I don't care how much karma you have, it was still rude.
The comment shows that you posted at 4:19 am, so, time zone setting.
Thanks again for your post. It helped me find the the answer that I was searching for.

joachim commentedLinking to LMGTFY is usually meant to be a mild, ironic rebuke, IMO. Calling someone a jerk is unambiguous.
