Does anybody use a TinyMCE plugin for inserting < !--break--> in the text field? When TinyMCE is enabled, after I complete my writing, I have to disable it and add < !--break--> manually. But my users are confused about it.

I need a plugin that automatically inserts < !--break--> in the text field and shows some sort of breaking line there.

BTW I found a bug in <code> system. You can not use < !--break--> inside it, you have to add a space between < and !

I use this plugin without issue - it is included in the tinyMCE module download from this site - installation instructions should be in the folder with it.

I think he means that the ability to insert the

comment can't be done when you are in WYSIWYG mode. I agree, it would be nice if there was a toolbar button to let you insert one so the user doesn't have to turn tinymce off just to insert it manually.

edit: Just found this thread to solve your problem - http://drupal.org/node/82437

Wow, thank you for clearing up what this person meant by typing in pretty much the same thing they typed and completely ignoring what I actually said in my post. Lucky you did that.

Let me break it down for you:

- This person asked if anybody was using a plug in that allowed you to insert the teaser break code into a post without switching off TinyMCE for raw editing. To which I replied yes, I use such a plug in.

- I then went on to explain that this plug in works wonderfully and that it is in fact included in the download of the TinyMCE module from this very site. I also said that instructions for installing it are included with the download.

There are two places where plugin installing information is included with this download. The first one is in the INSTALL.TXT file which is in the root of the modules directory. The second one is located in the "plugins/drupalbreak" directory called README.TXT.

A person need simply follow the instructions included and a magical toolbar button will appear which inserts the break wherever you choose. Of course, it's not entirely magical as it doesn't psychically do it for you.

Oh yes, because your post was so informative and friendly in the first place... :P Do you write user manuals for Microsoft, by any chance?
