My custom logo does not show up

I installed drupal in my website; it installed well. But my logo does not show up. I have uploaded my logo to /sites/default/files but still it does not show. I tried uploading the same file from my laptop but also it does not show up. What is causing this problem? I am a total newbie on drupal (although I know a bit of html and php). HELP! - carlos

I am having the same issue.
I am having the same issue. I am unable to view the custom logo either. However I see the file on the server. I am using the dark theme for D6. I am also a super duper NOOB with Drupal. Any suggestions will be wonderful.
