Hello,

I really like this module, i searched always for a possibility to enter extra classes!

unfortunately the interface is a little bit slow. the labels, values are nested into to much levels and there is no "mainpage" for edit multiple fields like the cck display fields setting.

for this reason i need much more time to set up 15-20 cck field with this modul in comparison to write fast a little template file, where i can add classes,divs or other stuff.

so i hope soon, later versions will have this improvements

If you find the current interface slow, a main page with all of the settings for multiple fields would be impossibly slow.
I do agree that there are a lot of nested fieldgroups, but I find it currently usable.

Perhaps if you provided a mockup of your proposed design would be helpful?

I somewhat disagree with your statement that it takes more time to configure semantic CCK than to setup
CCK template files. I wouldn't say there is massive difference either, but it's definitely faster AND easier, especially if you:

  1. configure semantic cck at the same time you are creating a field; and
  2. use admin menu, which allows you to go directly to a field's config page. If you use the drupal nav to slowly get to a CCK field's config page, well, let's just say that almost anything is quicker...

Let's put it another way: as someone who is very comfortable with field overrides, I would not have released the module if I felt it slowed me down.

I think tim.plunkett's comment is apt. Providing some mock-up of the improvements you would be useful and help communicate your idea more effectively.
