I've read here and there that

  1. If you go to the archive page and search the archive for a particular day Drupal should deliver entries for that day and subsequent days to a total of 20, and
  2. If you go to http://mydrupalsite.com/archive/2003/6 it will list the entries for June 2003.

I just installed 4.4.1 (importing a bunch of entries from Movabletype) and it doesn't do any of that. Things don't seem to work that way here on the main Drupal site either. Is that a feature that's been dropped? It seems I can look at the archives one day at a time and that's it.
