ANyone using GNUcash and can imagine building a module to interact with it. any thoughts on this front?

We are a social services org looking to have more integration of services arcoss 46 different programs and finacial education is an integral part of helping almost all of our clients among other areas we might be working with them for. So I was thinking that if we were to use drupal at our organization that we could be helping people to set up a communications environment and teach them how to communicate with us through a drupal site and we could give them the appropriate modules for what we are helping them with. So if someone needed help with housing/rental assistance, that spans to departments, but we need to work together through communications, and we could offer them a space to organize and plan finacially.

hence my interest with integrating GNUcash and drupal. I don't know much about GNUcash, but any thoughts would be appreciated

Not sure where you are coming from

Drupal is used to run/develope web sites, GNUcash is an accounting programming (in runs under various versions of Unix - not web based). As such it is not clear what you mean by integrating them.

I think he means a

I think he means a export/import module from and into the e-commerce module. You see, when customers make an order on your webstore, you as the owner, just hit a button in your CRM/Accounting software, and have all the data you need to complete the order(into your dekstop software...in this case, GNUCash). I'am not familiar with the e-commerce module in drupal, however I've some extensive knowledge on how to run a internet store effective, both sale-, logistics- and support-wise
..eh, so... But, I don't think that GNUCash is the best software for accounting and customer relation building released under GPL. TinyERP.org, Kmymoney or http://eqonomize.sourceforge.net/ is all sofware I prefer before GNUcash when it comes to usability.

Cheers!
