I have a nodeque pager embedded in all the nodes, and as I page through them I noticed that the queue is recycled after only 5 nodes.

By the way, when I view the Subqueu page, all the nodes appear there in the nodequeue. So the problem is with the pager.

I think you have multiple pagers on those pages. You should try using the $element parameter from theme_pager().
