Not sure if I'm mistaking the intent of the module, but isn't a new node created with this module supposed to be referenced in the originating node? I have 6.x-1.1 installed with Drupal 6.17, Ajax 6.x-1.14, Utilities 6.x-1.3 and CCK 6.x-2.7.

I've created nodes numerous times with this module and they never reference after creation.

Exactly, it should! Have you configured the nodereference field so that the link "Create new XXXX" appears below the ndoereference? Have you checked for javascript errors?

I have it properly (as far as I can tell) set up and I do see the "create new XXXX" link below the nodereference. Not seeing any errors in Firefox's error console.
