I would like to see a define:word tag as a filter which builds a link toward google's with q=define:word. so we can use googles define service, like this

thats a pretty nice idea. can be done as part of a small define.module in Contrib

As an aside, I have added google and mw as default prefixes in wmfilter. (mw for Merriam Webster's Dictionary Definition).
