I've installed Rules for newest Drupal7 core, and I got an error message:
ReflectionException: Function rules_core_action_execute() does not exist in ReflectionFunction->__construct() (line 1185 of /srv/www/staging/hit.hu/lepke/sites/all/modules/rules/rules/includes/rules.core.inc).
The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.
The webpage cannot run anymore, I had to delete manually the Rules module (FTP, and phpmyadmin).
I've tried to reinstall it lot of time, and many ways.
Thank you!

szazo82 commentedI tried again, and I think that the error in the views_bulk_operations module.
fagoyep, I guess vbo needs to update its rules integration.

Neil_in_Chicago commentedI had the same error adding modules to a new install (everything the latest). There are four varying reports of this bug.
See Please add faces to the module dependency list, December 2010.

Lee B commentedWhy is this closed (fixed)? I'm still seeing the error, in 7.x-2.0-beta2, and Neil_in_Chicago reported that it WASN'T fixed in Dec.
Lee B commentedScratch that; the problem seems to have been in the oauth or twitter modules; disabling them solves it.
gmak commentedI've re-opened this, because I'm getting the error:
I've tried with and without Twitter/Oauth installed, with no change.
fagoThis is probably caused by another module having rules integration that needs to be updated. Try grepping for the the function name to find it.
kmdesign commented@gmak, did you get this fixed. I'm dead in the water with the same error message. I've turned off every module in my install, and still no fix. Desperate for guidance. Thanks in advance.
tinarey commentedsame problem here:
"ReflectionException: Function rules_core_action_execute() does not exist in ReflectionFunction->__construct()"
and have to manually de-install. Tried with both the stable and the dev version.
OAuth and Twitter are active but deactivating them is not an option for me. I've tried it on a daisy-fresh Drupal installation and activated the modules one by one: OAuth doesn't seem to be the problem, but as soon as I activate Twitter actions things go wrong. (Twitter Core, Post and Signup all work).
On the live website though this setup doesn't work either, the error still occurs even if I disable all twitter and OAuth modules.. (on the test page disabling Twitter actions was enough to restore the site).
How can I track down that bug?
fagoDelete those modules module.rules.inc from this modules, or roll a patch to fix. They need to port their rules integration or it obviously won't work but break everything. Also file a bug in their issue queue.

Paste this code into rule.rules.inc.
Easy fix.

tinarey commentedThanks heaps, that did the trick!
