Hi. On my site:
www.bales.ca

I've installed HTML area and the link button in HTMLarea no longer works - it will open a window and allow you to type in an url, but the ok button does nothing. This was working on my site, and I can't imagine what I could have done to make it stop working. I've tried the demo site and it works for me there so I don't think it is a browser problem.

any ideas?

does not seem to be a bug in htmlarea since this works for others. i suppose you can try disabling custom modules and themes and see if functionality is restored. ... changing to 'support request;.

I'm having the same problem.

I have the same problem as well. It seems pressing OK doesn't close the popup window but it still applys the link. I can close the link window with the window close button or cancel button. The OK button DOES work correctly when an existing link is selected and the link toolbar button is used to open the link window.

I am using:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Netscape/7.1 (ax)

Duztin, Tarlbot,

The htmlarea is based on another project unrelated to drupal. The module wraps around it. Since this problem is intermeadiate it may be a browser incompatibility. Please list your browsers and system you are using similar to what I have done. Also list your page (if available) so that others can test it with their browsers/os.

Hi I reinstalled html area, here's a link to try it on http://ripelinks.com/comment/reply/126/18

My test was on the link popup window.

I tried it in IE (didn't work) Firebird (Closed the browser when a comment page was opened) Mozilla (didn't work)

I'm using windows xp.

The popup for insert a picture doesn't work either. Those two are the only ones I've tested.

It seems others are having problems with this as well but it is not a problem with the htmlarea.module.

I will see if there is a fix, newer version, or something I can see in the code. On your site I am thx1138. Use that to contact me off list.

Well, I tracked it down on the version from sourceforge.
Read my post (the most recent comment) at sourceforge:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=959974&group_id...

Basically you go into the htmlarea.js and replace "a.tagName" with "a" in one of the functions.

I cannot test it on my site (which may use a different version than the sourceforge one) because it is down for maintanence.

Should this be changed back to a bug?
