steps to migrate file from dev to production in drupal application

Hi,

I am newbie to drupal. I have no idea migrating the files from dev to prod. Can anybody tell me the steps.

The general steps are to:
1) Export your development database
2) Move your files to your production server
3) Import your database into your production database
4) Modify your settings.php file to point to the production database
