Is there a possibility to have this module handle
* increasing node-counter when video is viewed?
* voting (e.g. through voting API)?

Thanks for the feature suggestion!

A substantial update for the module is in the works so I will investigate this functionality then. I unfortunately don't have a timeline at the moment.
