I'm using the waffles theme for one of the sites I work on at http://statusje.ipower.com, and this theme looks great except in IE 8 the front page does not display a theme, It shows a white background with all the links going down the left side of the page.

I noticed that there was no ie8-fixes.css file in the theme, so I tried to write one and uploaded that as I've had luck doing that in the past with other themes, but it doesn't seem to have worked for this one.

Has anyone else had this problem? How can I fix this?

The theme does display to anonymous visitors and people who are not logged in using IE 8. Once I log in as any other user (user 1, test admin account for user 2, and test user account user 3) the theme disappears.

The theme does still work on other pages - just not the front page.

The panel page still loads and works as well (it's just set at the very bottom of all the links).

So I don't think it's a problem with permissions for either views or panel pages, though I did double check to make sure that these were set correctly.

I have also cleared the cache.

Everything works fine when I log in as any of these users in another browser (Google Chrome and Firefox).
