Hi,
Presently the functionality which is provided by overlay is awesome.But after doing any configuration changes or form changes on the overlay, the changes are not effecting on the background page immediately.To effect the changes we need to reload the page again. Upon changing the configurations on the overlay, if you update the content in the background. it will be very useful to the users and also saves one page refresh time.

We've been working on this: #655722: Changes made in an overlay session are not reflected when the user closes the overlay.
