I know I would be VERY happy to see an implementation of that in Drupal.

Thickbox/jQuery is really nice! I have made a thickbox.module to integrate it with Drupal. It's no project for it yet but I have committed it to cvs.

Until jQuery and ThickBox has been licensed under GPL, it's under way,
you need to download the some files manually, see the README.

It's a really simpel wrapper module and you can see it in action on http://xdeb.org/blog.

I have a modified version of the inline.module with Thickbox integration and a lot of other special features that I want on my own sites.

Hi frjo,
Thanks for the quick implementation.
This is what I did, but still not working

* Created a folder named "thickbox"
* copied the files:

jquery-compressed.js
loadingAnimation.gif
thickbox.css
thickbox.js
thickbox.module

* changed the path of the GIF to /muslina/modules/thickbox/loadingAnimation.gif
* added: <a href="/muslina/files/Snap1.png" title="my caption" class="thickbox">image</a>

But it still does NOT work. What am I doing wrong?

from
jquery.js
to
jquery-compressed.js

I would do that since I use the compressed version of jquery that is a smaller download

and remember if you are using TinyMCE
admin/settings/tinymce "clean up and output settings" set "Verify HTML" to false

look for discussion in http://drupal.org/node/55709

Hi,
It works like a charm - maybe you could add this explanation in the README.TXT
Cheers,
Amitai

but works with IE6 Opera 9
and the strangest thing is that it used to work with FF before I shut down and restarted it

Any suggestions

UPDATE: I think it confincts with the collapse.js library because the thickbox works on other pages that don't require collapse.js to be loaded. Any thoughts ?
