I am not sure if this does what I am thinking it does but can I set it up with drupal and mediawiki so I can have a single sign in? Meaning that users can use the same account with both. Any help would be appriciated.

I am not familiar with mediawiki login procedures. It seems to me, if you get a successful login in Drupal via pubcookie, you could programmatically log the user in to mediawiki.
