I'm having some trouble with the CSV download. I created the export and attached it to my View. I would expect that the CSV would download as a file and the user could open that file in the program they choose (e.g. Microsoft Excel). That's how it works for me in Firefox. However, when some users download the file, it just opens as plain text in their browser (IE) and for others it gives the dialog box to save the file, but the format isn't correct in MS Excel and it opens in a single column (works fine for me though).
Now, this may not be an issue with the export, but different browser / system configurations. Either way, does anyone have an idea on how to make it so the user can download and view the file in MS Excel?
Your help is MUCH appreciated.

did you check the "provide as a file" in the settings for the CVS style? I also check "make first row a list of column headers". Before I had these checked mine didn't always download a file. Sorry I can't be more helpful
