I'm using the Simplemenu module with the Giordani theme. In IE7, the menu, which displays across the very top of the window, is left aligned with the middle of the window instead of the left of the window. (The menu displays correctly in FF and Chrome.) The feedback from the Simplemenu people is that it's a theme issue. Specifically that the divs for centering should not be put in the body style (see http://drupal.org/node/844244). What's the best way of fixing this?

This issue is being closed because it is against a branch for a version of Drupal that is no longer supported.
If you feel that this issue is still valid, feel free to re-open and update it (and any possible patch) to work with the 7.x-4.x branch.
