I'd like to convert Vbulletin over to Drupal and was wondering if it were at all possible to maintain the friendly urls? The board has been around a long time. For SEO sake I would hate to make Google re-index all of those pages. It will all be on the same site and in the same folder. How can I preserve the urls?

liam mcdermott commentedSorry for never getting to this. I'm assuming you're talking about URLs created by vBSEO?
I've begun some work on a new module, as part of the vBtoDrupal package, but it's just for showthread.php and forumdisplay.php at the moment, no showpost.php or SEO friendly URLs at the moment.
It needs expanding and a GUI.
Still it's a start. Hopefully someone else can pick this up if I don't get the time.

drhus commentedGreat, thanks Liam again,
on about Showpost.php - post N xxx
I can't imagine a way to transfer the url to drupal? as post (forum reply on vB ) will be translated/transfers as comment on Drupal and comments doesn't has unique url (as long as i know)
on about vBSEO URLs I think it would be better integrated with Pathauto may be the same integration module will migrate/translate showpost.php URL as 301 to thread (drupal node) that post belongs to
