(...) we may want to put in a one liner somewhere to disable fieldset animation for this specific browser (which could be removed in a few months when Firefox 2 is more mainstream). If nothing else it would be a shame to loose 100% browser compatability for Drupal - especially if this makes Drupal totally unusable for people (most likely Drupal developers) who are running a free OS on up-to-date hardware.

Also following the idea express in resize should be opt-in, not opt-out! it makes sense to have an option that can enables/disables javascript AJAX feature.

And this option must exist without need to override it on all themes.

I would support being able to override core scripts like we do with themable functions but this specific issue died a long time ago.
