Hi, I got a bit carried away today, and went from having a couple of issues with the aggregator service and the rss feed from last.fm to producing a module that will display any of the different xml lists from last.fm in a block.

It's all set up as a module, and I've just succesfully installed it on my live site. But I was wondering about making this available as a module for anyone to use? Do I need a cvs account before anything else? I've based my work off some other code, which isn't under GPL, but which the author has stated people are free to adapt and modify.

Any advice will be gratefully received.

please have a look at http://drupal.org/cvs-account for applying for a CVS account.

I'm no coder, but as i've seen hanging around Drupal.org this is the first thing to do to contribute a new module.

Yeah, I'm eager to get a last.fm feed going as well. I'll do some noodling and see if I can come up with anything...

Not sure what became of this, but I recently finished a prototype for a Last.fm block module you can get a copy of the latest version here if you're interested.
