The full textual representation of the day is fixed for the current day!

I am not sure how to explain this problem and the title may not describe well the issue.

I customized the date format to l j F Y so the full textual representation of the day shows first. The problem is that the text of the day represents the current day regardless the real date of creating the content.

For example, I created a page yesterday, Sunday, the data shows up correctly. However, today, Monday, the textual representation of the day shows the current day (Monday) while the numeric representation of the date still represents the correct date of creating the content. So if I have 20 pages were created in different days, all of them are shown were created on Monday but the numeric date represents the correct date. Tomorrow, all textual representation of the day will change to Tuesday and so on.
