I am not a stranger to Drupal, I have built a couple of sites using Drupal and so far I love it and always come back to it when thinking about building a website. With that being said, I built a website for a family member for his wedding photography website and it is a static HTML/CSS website. At the moment, any changes to what pictures he wants on there has to go through me and I would love to give him the ability to change things up on his own with limited complications.
What I would like to have in this site is several galleries one for weddings, portraits, landscapes, Quinceanera and events. These galleries typically have no more than 20 photos and they are just random photos that he wants to showcase. Like I mentioned before, I would like it to be very easy for him to update and change as he sees fit.
I would also like to have a page for current clients where he can upload the pictures he took for them and offer them for sale if they wish to purchase more than what they bought through a package he offers. This needs to be password protected so only himself and the client can view them. He should be able to assign usernames and passwords with relative ease. I currently use Gallery for this.
Of course he also has an about page, a contact page and a pricing page. The current pricing page has the ability to purchase a package directly on the site and this is using PayPal.
The current homepage is also a gallery of random pics from random photo shoots.
So I would like to keep the same functionality but with the ability to give him more control so I can focus on keeping the site up to date and theme/usability improvements.
I know all of this can be done via Drupal but I need to know which modules would be best suited for this as I have never attempted anything like this with Drupal before. So any recommendations from the experts out there will be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Very New
I'm very new to Drupal, but am considering something like the "wedding site". Is there somewhere that has a lot more info to read up on how to do this?
Thanks in advance.
Ubercart docs
Ubercart has its own web site for documentation, starting here for Drupal 6: http://www.ubercart.org/docs/user/7437/ubercart_2x

These two searches turned up a lot of results that may help:

You might also check out Drupal Multimedia - Winborn - Packt. Although somewhat dated, it does contain much useful information.
Also look in the Media section under Modules. Many of the gallery/photography related modules have examples of how they are used on real web sites.
wedding website
I wouldn't put too much effort into building wedding photography websites, wedding photography is now extremely flooded with photographers. The successful photographers are marketing machines and have insanely gorgeous web sites.
