Are there any plans to get a D6 version out? I am curious about this thing!

Yep! I just gotten involved in this module, and the first step is to update the schemas to be D6 compatible. I'll close this ticket when I've made the release.

mambazo, are you working still in this module ? I've special interest to integrate Drupal + Doctrine, due the new database layer in D7, the task won't too hard. Also the release of Doctrine2 opens new possibilities.
